Hirschi's Hunting/Camping trips!

Seth and Spencer and Sara's brother Stewart put in for a deer hunt this year in area 70 and drew out! This area is up by Scout Mountain and there is a lot of privet land. Stewart had got permission to hunt on the guys land and Seth had permission for them to hunt on a friend of ours land. Me being the camper that I am wanted to bring our trailer up and go camping why the guys where hunting and I ask Sara if she would like to go with us. She said she would love to go try this out and see how it goes with the kids We would only be going for one night We had a birthday party to get back for. The kids where having so much fun. I have to say it rained on us on Saturday but it wasn't bad they guys land we were camping on had electricity hookups for us to use and we had heat in our trailer the hole time it was so nice I keep telling Seth I could get used to this tip of camping fast!!. We have a TV in the trailer for the kids and they had fun watching movies and just playing with each other! Sara did tell me if she has fun we might have to come up with the guys the next weekend to camp too. Seth's Dad showed up and we put all of us in Seth truck and went for a ride to see if we could see any deer but we didn't it was sad. Sara loves to see moose and Seth and Spencer had seen 2 on opening day of hunting so we where hoping to see some to when we went.

Spencer ended up getting his that Saturday morning and that was so much fun to be up there camping when one of them got there's Spencer got is on Saturday Oct. 13, 2012

Kanyon just loves the 4 wheeler's

I had to get one of my man I could just have pictures of his brother and you can see he was so happy I took it too!!

It had stopped raining and we told the kids when there dad's got back from hunting we would take them for a ride on the 4 wheeler's before we had to go to the birthday party so here is every one getting already to go!

Of course I'm the one always taking the pictures so I'm not in this one of every one going up the road and I had my two girls with me because Seth's dad's bike didn't have a set on it so I had the girls with me

Kanyon and KayLee had not had there naps that day so the both fell asleep on the bikes and of course we had to have pictures of that too!

Seth took one of me and my girls for me too!

We had not seen one animal at all and the kids where wanting to so bad so Spencer took Carlie over the side and told her to throw rocks down there and see if anything pops out and sure enough about 7 deer jumped up and took off and the kids got to see them well Carlie and Ashlyn did.

I had to get one of just Sara and Kanyon

So Sara had fun camping so we went the next weekend also but Spencer had to do Scouting for food (Seth was supposed to but he got out of it) so he stayed home with Ashlyn and Sara and Kanyon came up with out him (I knew she would have fun if we could get her out with us). Kanyon and KayLee just feed off each other it is so funny. Kanyon was blowing on KayLee's belly and I tried to get pictures of it but every time I would try he would look up at me and just smile.

You can see KayLee was loving it too! This was Friday night after we got there.

Saturday morning we took the kids out for anther ride so we could try and see some thing for them! This time we got out a lot early then the week before and we saw so much! We saw about 20 head of deer and 2 mooses

There was about 5 deer with the moose so we got to see two things together

Seth was up hunting by him self and after we got back from our ride I was talking to him on the walkie-talkie and he had said he hasn't seen much that morning and I asked him if he was going to stay out longer or come back to camp because we had breakfast cooking and it was almost done if he want to come down and eat and he said no he wanted to stay out a little longer. Then about 30 minutes later he radio down to us and asked me if I had heard that and I said what and he said I shot one. At that time I looked up and saw him coming over the top of camp I asked him if the deer had come that way and Seth said yes it had and that he hadn't found it yet. So I asked him what he need and if he wanted me to start up to him to help him with it where he was by him self so I got ready and headed his way. Sara went to find somewhere where she could call out to try to get someone up there to help with the him. I could call out from where he got it so I called my Dad and he was on his way up too. I had to get pictures of Seth with his deer I don't think he has ever had a picture with a deer before but I had to have one this time. and where he has not got one in that last 12 years so I had to make a big deal out of it!!

It looked like it was going to rain any time and it just never did.

I helped Seth get the deer down to where they could get a 4 wheeler to it but I couldn't help him get it throw the fence and on to the 4 wheeler. So we went back to camp and ate and waited till everyone got there and the guys headed up to get him.

There was so much weight on the back end of the 4 wheeler that Seth was afraid it would tip on him so Spencer hoped on the front of the bike to help with the weight of the deer.

Of course I had to have more pictures of the deer in the truck and with Seth

And then it was time for us to go home and I have to say I was not ready to go I wanted to stay for the day but Seth need to get the deer to his mom's house and get it cut that night. So here we are all loaded up to go :(

That night after we got home from his mom's house it was around 11:30 or so the girls where so tired. KayLee sleep all the way home and when we got home Seth just took her and put her on my bed and then Carlie cam and laid right next to her and this is how she fell a sleep with her sister!!

I love these girls SO much!!

Elk Hunt 2012 weekend 1

Well we got to camp on a friday night and got our trailer all set up. We always ge but Saturday Seth will get up and go hunting and the kids and I will stay at camp. It's my job to keep the kids happy. This year my Brother Adam had his some what new girl friend come up to hunt with us. I have a Uncle Ed had made a deer cart (he is 100% blind) and he had asked Adam to put him (Ed) in the cart and push him around in it but the rest of us wouldn't let him get in it so Adam but Jordan in it instead and I had to get pictures of it of course.

He didn't really drop her on her head. But he was having a lot of fun having her in the cart

Dosen't the dog have a good life!!

The Three girls this is my Cousin kid Mallory (I hope I'm spelling her name right) The girls had a blast together

I love this picture Carlie told Mallory to make a funny face and this is the face she did and she looks like she is just so made at Carlie

Then the kids went and played in the creek and we had to clean them off in my Grandpa path tub.

I was sad I didn't even think to go get pictures of them playing in the creek

But after we got them all cleaned up we gave them Ice Cream

Hunting Trip 2

Well the 2ed weekend we went up we went for 10 days and I just love it when we go for a hole week. We just always see a lot then! On Sunday the 2ed day we were there we went to a ride like we always do on Sundays with the kids and we went up to this spot that we like to go just to see elk and we were just looking up on the hill in front of us and then I looked out my window (I was in the back set so my Grandpa could have that front) and I saw this

It took me a minute to figured out what I was looking at! Then all I could say was ELK ELK!!

Every one got out of the truck so fast and then she took off on us and there ended up being a cafe with her! Then...

This guy came out and I got some pictures of him. Normally with elk I just get pictures of there butts, but this guy let me get some pictures of him before her took off. That was the coolers thing because the kids got to see elk that were with in 80 yards or so. This kids just loved it.

After we done chasing the elk Seth, My Dad Jordan and Adam set down on the log and I just had to get a picture of them. They were spotting for elk up on the mountain, We didn't see anything

When we got back to camp there was this lone sheep in our camp and the kids where having fun chasing it!

Seth told the girls he would take them hunting so we got them some Camo clothing and he put face paint on there face and took them

I just love this picture of them together. They are just the best of friends and I love it!!

KayLee keep telling me to take a picture of her hand to so that she had paint on them too so I got one of each hand but I just put one picture of it on so I could have this down and so I would know how excited she was to go hunting with her daddy!!

And there go my little hunters. So after they left I had this thought that I should have gotten dressed and went with them but I was a little to late and they went and had so much fun with there daddy!!

So as they where coming back to camp KayLee found this caterpillar. Seth said she found it just about a mile behind our camp and she would not put him down she carried him back all the way and just went slow. She was so in love with that thing it took us about 2 hr after she got home to get her mind off of it so we could go put it back in the woods where it need to be. But I did get some good pictures of her with it!!

So on day one of our 10 day trip, We went down to the campground to us the rest room's and Seth went to open the back door of his truck and didn't know KayLee was leaning up against the door and out she came. I was standing on the other side and saw the hole thing and I flew around that truck so fast. I new for sure we where going to have to go in to town to get stitches but it didn't even bleed. I do think she had a little concussion with it she was trying not to trow up and she was having a hard time keeping her eyes open. but her eyes did look good so we didn't take her in to the ER in Soda I took this picture the next day so you could see it better.

We went in to Aften Wyoming and they have this cool antlers arch and there was a bus of chinese people out taking pictures of it and Seth being Seth rolled down his window and was yelling at them " They aren't real They aren't real" So when we came back thew they where all gone and I had to get a picture just to bug Seth and yes he said it to me too. (he was talking about the elk in the center)

I brought up so stuff for the girls to do so they didn't get bored and they just had a blast with it! Here is some picture of them working on a pumpkin spider thing

On Friday that week my dad radio down to us and said her had shoot one and that if the girls and I wanted to walk up to it this would be a easy one for them so the girls and I got ready and went with my grandpa up to go help my dad with his elk. The girls were so excited to go see it and to go help I have little girls that are big helper's and you know me I couldn't go with out my camera so I took pictures all the way up.

They have all the water holes numbered so that way we know where exactly where everyone goes so if anyone needs any help we know where to go. This is one of the water hole and this is the one Seth took the girls to when her took them hunting that day! It is just go gorgeous up there and I'm just not the best picture taker but you can still see some what of how pretty it is up in Soda

I love these two pictures! The one of the Girls and my Grandpa. The log was a little fatter down where my grandpa is sitting and he didn't have to sit on the ground to sit on it there. That is why he is not right next to the girls

This is up where my dad got his elk you can see how thick it is in there!

As we were walking up to my Dad he radio down to us and said he couldn't find it. So when we got to him the girls and I sat down and they looked for him. My Dad had gotten hurt the day before so he was hurting bad and after he shoot he just sat down and didn't see what way the elk went. Seth was hunting in a different spot and he finally got where we were and and was helping trying to find him. I got up and tried to help with what I could with the girls we didn't know where my dads arrow was so we didn't just want them walking around till we found that, and they didn't want me to leave them. Also as were where walking up to help my dad my cousin radio down to us and said he had one down to and need help with is. He had gotten his where he need horses to get him out. So when we just could find my dad's my grandpa headed out to go help Chet and the girls and I and Seth stayed to try and help find my Dad's. It was getting KayLee's nap time and she was getting so cranky so the girls and I found our way out of the mountain by our self and them about an hour to two my dad radio down to us saying he had found it! It took him 5 hours to find him so it was a long day! He said he had hard him fall down and herd him die. He found him 35 yards from where the girls and I where siting. When my dad shoot the elk it took off one way and he thought it just keep going that way but it what it had done was circled around to where my Dad had seen him the 1st time. My Dad shoot at him a 1st time and missed him and the elk took off on him but then my dad started to elk call and he came back down to my dad and that is when he got the 2ed shoot and got him! My dad had given up on finding him where it had been 5 hr from when he shoot him that the meat was going to be going bad if he didn't find him fast so he went to go see if he could find his 1st arrow and that is when he found the elk.
