Maddie

Well where to start! We got Maddie from a lady in Idaho Falls that found her back in like 2004 or 2005 we cant remember when we got her. She was so skinny and was sick but we took her in and made her our own! The people that had her before us didn't take good care of her she had been beaten bad and was scared if us SO bad. It took us a long time to get her to trust us. We didn't know how she would do with kids or if we were going to get to keep her for long if she wasn't good with kids. We had Carlie (our oldest) in January of 2006 and Maddie just loved her, she didn't understand what she was for a few weeks but she was very good with her as she grow up and started to play with her more. Maddie was just one of the BEST dogs you could have ever asked for even with the hard life she had before we got her. She fit in our family so nice she loved to go camping. She would spend the hold day just chasing the squirrels and the fly's and bee's if she could I think she would live in the mountains for ever that is just where she loved to be all the time. This last week Seth brought home the trailer and Maddie was in the back yard watching him park it and just was so excited, she was dancing around and was so ready to go camping. We go a kick out of just watching her get so happy we were getting ready to go. But very sadly her life was cut short. And my kids are so sad and our house fills gloomy and very sad and I hate that filling. Maddie was hit my a car on Monday July 30, 2012  and it went very fast for her. We took her up to some friends of ours property and buried her were she just loved to be in the mountains. It is going to be so hard going camping this coming weekend with out her for the 1st time in 9 years or so. Seth this morning (being the morning after) got up like he always dose and went to the back door and opened it for her to go out side for the day, and that was anther thing she just loved she loved being out side it didn't mater how cold or hot it was she just wanted to be out side. Just to talk about some more things she loved to do and that she did all them time. We took her to American Falls every Sunday when we went up there she just loved going in the car for car rids. If she saw that back was open in the jeep or the old CRV she would jump in and you couldn't get her out till you drove her around the block and then she would get out of the car. We never had to put her on a leash she just stayed close and when you called her she came right away it was the best thing ever. She was in LOVE with Seth she would follow him every were he went when we took her places. She would always do what Seth told her to do. I will most likely be adding more and more to this blog as I think of some more stories about Maddie so that we have as much as can to remember her by. 

We lover her and can't wait to see out sweet little miss Madison again some day!!

Holly Cows!!

We just had Seth's Grandma's Bental 80th Birthday party and it was a lot of fun Seth Aunt Carla came down from Utah and we had dinner out at his Grandparents house after dinner Seth's mom got the kids carrots to feed there cow's at his other Aunts house. Seth's Grandparents live out in farm country and his Aunt Candy (that have the cows) lives just down the road from them. The Girls just loved it KayLee just was loving them and wanted to pet them! Carlie was a scared of them!

Seth was trying to help Carlie with feed the cows. Seth had his hand out straight and to the side them put the carrot in between his fingers and them had Carlie holding on to the end of it (so Seth's had was between the cow and Carlie hand). This was the only way she would feed them a few minutes or so then she got to were she would just feed them herself!

If KayLee had a long carrot she would hold it out for her to feed it she was such a big girl

My little Scare

Well Seth and I went of a 4 wheeler ride just the 2 of us! We went up behind my Mom's and Dad's house.

We where up the hill a long ways before I could hear this rattle and I ask Seth if that was a rattle snake and he said yes look, and right in front of us was the snake! You could hear the Rattle over the 4 wheeler very well and I put my feet up just as fast as I could. I have always been told wheres these one there is more and you usually don't get bit by the one you see its the one you don't see that gets you. I wasn't a happy camper!

Seth tried to go around it but I would let him and them he picked up a rock and throw it at him and hit it and it got of the road so we could get around it! I have only seen 1 other rattle snake before and I was in a car that time so it wasn't so bad. I could care less if I ever see one (if I'm not in a car) ever again!

Lady Bugs!

My Sister told us about this bag of Lady Bugs you can buy at Fred Myers and Carlie just had to have a bag of them! So I took the Girls over to get a bad and they wanted 6 dollars for a bag of them and me being me didn't want to spend that much on a bag of bugs so I told them no and then a few days later Seths Mom came down and Carlie talk Grandma into going and buying her them. So off to Freddie's we went And Miss Carlie got her bag!! Grandma Cindy could stay to watch them open the bag but I got pictures of it all for her!

As soon as I cut open the bag to let them out they just started to come out and they didn't stop! There was just about 200 or so of them we had them every where 

Carlie had them all over her and KayLee wouldn't touch one for nothing 

Here is a picture of KayLee and I know it looks like she is trying to touch them but really she was smashing them and Carlie was getting so made at her for it! 

KayLee would try to dump them out of the bag but she didn't what them to touch her 

I don't know why but I just love the pictures I got of Carlies hands with the Lady Bugs on them!!

Fun day with Cousins

My Sister-in-law asked us to come to American Falls to the library to the safari week they had for the kids!! All the kids liked it but KayLee, well at lest till she realized the animals were dead and couldn't get her. 

The 1st thing they had when you walk in the doors what this Bear and she didn't like him one bit. You can see her little face!

We got her to pet the cheetah because it's a cat and she loves her cats 

Then she would pet the Zebra and she just got better and better after that. 

Kanyon was in heaven he just was having so much fun with all the animals.

After that we went to the park and played a little bit and then when to Spencers and Sara house and let the kids get in Kanyons pool KayLee has the same one! They had a Blast spending the day together 

I told Kanyon to sit in the water and so he did and I was so cute. You could hear him just breath deep because the water was so cold. 

It was a very fun day and cheep summer activity we did with the kids that the kids just loved!!

KayLee got a new pool for her birthday and I had to have some pictures of her playing in it and of her on her real birthday. We did her birthday party 2 days before because it landed on a Monday ant my Dad could come on Saturday better. But here are some Pictures of the girls playing in the pool

So for little miss KayLees Birthday day this year I did a pirate party. Where KayLee had had to have the patch on her eye for that last few months I thought what good timing it would be to do one now and it was a blast to do! I had fun planing it and get down to details on things. I mad every thing for her little party and I had fun doing it! my Fired Jordyn help me out with everything and I couldn't have done it with out her help! I loved how her invitations turned out

I had pictures of all the little kids hitting but that was a lot of pictures so I just showed the ones of the birthday girl. Seth had to finish it off for the kids so they could get the candy out of it
