Christmas 2012

This Year we did Christmas in 3 days it was so nice to not be running around all over on Christmas day! 

Our 1st party was Seth's Family with his Brother and Sisters and Mom and Dad. It was so nice we had dinner and then the kids opened their gifts. We had this Party on Saturday December 22. The same day we had got news that Seth aunt Candy had passed away. We almost didn't do the party but I'm glade we did it. It was a nice get your  mind off of things for a little bit!. We went up to Seth's mom and dad's and I am hopping this is something we can do every year. The girls loved all the gifts they got and they got a lot from Grandma and Grandpa and there aunts and uncles!

KayLee had gotten this new Baby from Spencer and Sara and she wouldn't put it down! You can see her face on how happy she is to get a new Baby!!

On Christmas Eve we went to my Mom and Dad's for Christmas there. My Dad had to work on Christmas so we couldn't go over there for breakfast like we always do. I didn't get very good pictures of the girls at my Moms but O well 

I did try to get pictures of ever one 

Christmas morning the girls came in to our room about 5 am. Carlie came in first and then KayLee started to cry a little so Carlie went in to get her and brought her into our room and I could hear her telling her "Don't look and see what Santa got us he will come and take them back so do look". The girls went right back to sleep and we didn't get up till like 8:30 or so and it was so nice. When we did get up the girls went into the front room and saw that there wasn't anything in there Carlie said "he didn't come", and was a little sad about it. Then she got a little glimpse in to the new family room that we have been working (post to come) and saw her stuff and she lit up like a Christmas tree and she headed in there to see what she got.  

Carlie had been asking us for one of these all month so she was happy she got one for Christmas 

And KayLee LOVES anything to do with Mickey Mouse 

It took them just about 5 mins or so to see the new TV we got from Santa also 

The girls had fun seeing what they had in there stockings

For some reason KayLee didn't want to sit in her new chair so it took us a few to get her into it and then we couldn't get her out as well!

They wanted to open there gifts in there new chairs 

Carlie got this Play Doh set that makes cakes and Ice-Cream and she was so happy over her cake 

The girls wanted to watch one of their new movies they got and the next thing you know that are both out! you can see how much Carlie loved her new chair. They will look good in the new family room when it is all done!!

I Got Kissed

So KayLee rides a bus to school on Wednesdays and Fridays and it comes and picks her up at 7:30am . I know that is early to have a little 3 year old ready for school. Well today I blow her a kiss like I always do after she gets on the bus and the little boy siting in the set in front of her Blow one back to me!! It so made my day and I haven't stopped thinking about it so I just thought I should share this on my journal (blog)!!

Santa

So I know I will have another post about Christmas but I just had to do this one Because it was just to good! We had our word Christmas party (12-8-12) and They all ways have Santa come at the end for the kids and this year when it was our turn to go in the room to see Santa KayLee walked in and the just freak out she didn't was to go any where around him!! Carlie on the other hand went right up to him and set on his lap with no problem and was telling talking to him and everything then all of a sudden she said " That's not Santa, That's DAN!! 

Dan is a really good friend of ours him and his wife LesLee are ones we like to go camping with a lot and have a lot of fun with!! I had to share this one Because I am trying to be better at writing do funny little things my kids say I haven't been very good at doing that but I'm going to start to try a little more!

Dying Art!

I always new I wanted my kids to learn how to play the piano and now that the girls are getting older I have been wanting one! I happened to say something to my cousin about this and they just moved in to a new house and didn't want to try to get it in there basement so she called me and asked if I wanted it!! (For FREE!!) I couldn't bass it up! It needs a lot of work but I love the way it looks and it will even look better when I get done with it! I was going to wait till I had it done to post about it but I don't know when that will be so here is it. I have always thought that playing the piano was a dying art you just don't see as many people playing it anymore. I grow up with a Mom that always played and she just never taught us how to play so I have asked her if she would love to teach the girls and she is going to give it a try for us. Seth is not all that happy about getting it but I hope after hearing the girls play a little bit he will change his mind!!

Finally some Snow!!

So we have had our 4 wheeler now for a year and we finally got some snow that Seth could go plow with his toy!! Of course the girls had to go with him  he cant start that thing with out giving them a ride too!  So he we got them all dressed up and ready to go and they just had a blast. I don't know who had more fun the girls or Seth! But he went down the street and did the next door neighbors house. Some one else had already done most of our street so he was just trying to find some were he could plow where he didn't get to use it last year do to not getting any snow to plow. 

After they where done Carlie wanted to make a snow man but the snow wasn't the right kind of snow to make one so they just played for a few minutes in it instead

Halloween 2012

Halloween was so much fun this year!! We wanted to do a big party with Seth's family and let me tell you how much fun that was! I think the kids had just as much fun as the adult did. We did our party the Saturday before Halloween.We started out at the corn maze and I didn't have my card in my camera so I didn't get any pictures so I had to get them from my sister-in-low. but here are some pictures of the maze

After the maze we went to our house to play some games, have dinner, and do sugar cookies 

I made this jello mold and it was my 1st time trying it and it turned out great and tasted good too.

We didn't have time to do the pumpkins we had got to carve so we went up to Sara and Spencer's and did it for FHE! I have to say I had fun I don't think Spencer did so much but my kids had fun with it 

KayLee shocked me with just getting right in and cleaned out her pumpkin 

Sara working on there's I think Kanyon was still just a little to young to really get in to the carving so Sara did most of it and Spencer do a lot of it to he just didn't like me taking a picture of him

Both girls had school on Halloween and they don't get to dress up for school so I just put them in Halloween shirts and did there hair to look like spiders

After school we got ready for our word trunk or treat and the Carlie was a Ghost and KayLee was a Scarecrow! I made there costumes this year!

all-in-all we had a great Halloween and the girls had a lot of fun. We did a lot but I was so much fun and I cant wait till next year!!
