KayLee's Eye Surgery

Well I did a blog post in February about KayLee's eyes and said she was going to have Surgery on them. Well after having to move it 2 time we finally got it done on June 1, 2012 The poor little girl keep getting sick the week we had planed on it and so we just had to keep pushing it back till she was healthy. The Hospital had called on Thursday May 31,2012 and said they wanted her to be up there by 10 Friday morning and that she couldn't have anything to eat after 12a.m. Friday morning. Friday morning came and we just got up like we always do and just started to get ready for the day and then the hospital called about 8a.m. and asked if we could be there by 8:45 to 9 a.m. so we got up there and we waited around for a little bit and about 9:45 They took us back to start getting her dressed and check her over before. Then we did A LOT more waiting. About 11:39 They finally took her back for her surgery. That was the longest wait ever. That poor little girl was getting hungry and wanting to run around and play (not very fun for a little 2 year old girl) The surgery only took about an hour they came and got us about 12:51. They gave her the face mask that they would be using to put her to sleep with so she wouldn't be scared with it when it came time to put her to sleep.

My Dad came up to be with us way she had the surgery and he took her for a little walk down the halls. I love this picture to it one of my fav's also. She was so ready to get out and play that they told use we could take her for walks around to keep her happy. 

Well here is one of them taking her back and that is one of the hardest thing to see as a mom 

The gift shop is on the same floor as the surgery's and Carlie wanted to get her this balloon so Seth let her get it! It was a $4 balloon I don't think I have ever spent that much on a balloon before. But you should have seen KayLees face when she saw it, it was priceless 

Here is my little baby girl after she was done. She didn't want to wake up at all. She got done about 12:51 and she sleep till about 4 we got home about 4:15

That little girl had to be hungry she had not had anything to eat or drink for almost 22 hours! They gave her some apple juice and pudding till we got home 

She got a little ride out to the truck and it was so cute. The Doctor said the sun would bother her a little bit for few days that is way she isn't looking at me 

KayLee Did so well with every thing. The longest part of it has been the after part. Doctor said she could not have any water in her face for 3 weeks yes I said 3 weeks and it had been a LONG 3 weeks but she is doing very well and looks amazing!!

Memorial Day Weekend

Anther year of Camping for us!! And not the best of weather yet again, but it was still fun!!

We went with some friends of our Dan and LesLee again this year, and we went to up to Scout Mt where their family has some land. It is that same place we went last year too! We went up Friday after Seth and Dan got off work. We got up there and Seth help Dan back his trailer in and then I pulled our trailer over and I put our trailer where we were going camp. Seth is that one that always dose it and I wanted to try to do it this time it it wasn't as hard as I was thinking but I don't know if I will be doing it any time soon also!

Saturday morning we got up to snow on the Mt around us and more and more rain.

The rain stop for a little bit that evening so I got a picture of our camp 

And Seth and Dan were set on getting a fire going!

So Seth got the girls to help with getting wood

Maddie likes to play with the ground squalls and she got one for the 1st time but I don't think she was trying to kill it because she keep looking at it like she wanted it to get up and run so she could play with it like she dose other dogs. She keep trying to make it move with her nose, and when it would do anything she just left it alone and walk way   

We went for a drive Saturday night and only saw 2 deer but it was nice for the kids to see at lest that 

Sunday we went home for a little bit we didn't want to sit in the rain all day again. So we just went home and showered and sleep and did some stuff around the house and then we went over to Dan and LesLees for dinner and the Seth Mom and Dad came down and we went back up to our camp. 

A funny story: Saturday night about midnight Dan said there trailer started to move like the wind was blowing very hard so he got up to put down there oning and when he opened the door there was a Cow (it was a male cow) trying to get under it to get out of the rain and we wasn't fitting because they had stuff under there to keep out of the rain. So he scared it off and the about 6 in the morning the cow was back trying it again. So Sunday night before we went to to bed Dan and Seth used there trucks and put them side ways on the opening to our trailers and blocked it off so he could do it again that night! I had to get pictures of it. We called it circling our wagons modern-day style!! 

Carlie let Kaylee ride her 4-wheeler by her self for the 1st time and she was having so much fun with that. She did have someone telling her what she can and can't do for once!!

Monday was so nice we got to go out and play and we went at shoot ground squalls and I was out shooing the guys. so I went back to camp to let the guys have there fun and Seth keep Carlie and he let her shoot my 22 for her 1st time and I was a little sad I didn't get to get a picture of it, but she was so excited about getting to do that with her dad!!

Seth and Carlie shoot there bows as well so I did get some pictures of that 

And Kaylee just sitting in the grass! That little girl could care less I keep telling her she was siting next to a cow pie but she didn't care!

Pocatello Zoo

My Mom and I thought it would be fun to take the kids and go to the Zoo so we took all 5 kids and I have to say I thought it was fun!! it was HOT But fun!

The kids keep running in front of us trying to get in some shade and they were taking what they could find

This Grizzly Bear was SO cute I just wanted to go love on him and could stop taking pictures of him!!

Look at his Nails. I don't think I could have mine that long!!

This Zoo keeper need the wight of the  Eagle and she came in at 10lb 2oz  and he said her wing span is about 6 feet long and she is about 3 1/2 years old!! I was fun to get information like that about some of the animals and I have to say I got some cool pictures of her!!

This Black bear was fun to to see she was every where and was playing and just having fun the kids loved him 

The Zoo keeper was cleaning the grounds and the kids asked her if the bear like to get spread with the water and she said yes he loved it so she started to spray him and the kids thought that was SO funny he was running every were and trying to eat the water and climbing on everything!! I do have to say that was the best part! Sorry I could stop taking pictures of it so the last FEW pictures are of this bear and the water
